DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (Kyodo) Kei Nishikori moved into the second round of the Delray Beach International with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Argentina’s Brian Dabul on Tuesday.

Nishikori, ranked 66th on the ATP Tour, will next face James Blake in a rematch of the 2008 final.

Nishikori beat Blake in three sets as a qualifier for his first and only career title on the tour. He became the youngest champion in tournament history at the age of 18.

In other matches second-seeded Mardy Fish advanced to the second round when Bjorn Phau retired from their first-round match because of illness, while trailing 0-5.
