MIYAZAKI (Kyodo) Yuta Ikeda held onto his overnight lead to claim his fourth win of the season with a two-shot victory at the Dunlop Phoenix on Sunday.
Ikeda fired a 5-under-par 66 to close on 15-under 269, becoming only the fourth player to record four wins two years in succession on the JGTO Tour after Masashi "Jumbo" Ozaki, Isao Aoki and Tsuneyuki Nakajima.
"I really dug in deep today and just tried to pick up shots where I could," said Ikeda. "I wasn't sure if I would win until the very end. I never thought I would record four wins two years in the trot."
