KOBE (Kyodo) Relegation-haunted Vissel Kobe have sacked manager Toshiya Miura and replaced him with assistant coach Masahiro Wada, the J-League first-division club said Sunday.

Miura’s dismissal followed Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to 17th-place Kyoto Sanga, a result that left Vissel third from bottom with 21 points from five wins, six draws and 11 defeats.
