Eiichi Koyano went 3-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs and Yoshio Itoi contributed with three RBIs as the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters held off the Chiba Lotte Marines 10-7 to win their third game in a row on Monday.
Itoi had a two-run single to highlight a three-run first inning and after the Fighters went ahead 4-3, Hichori Morimoto helped break open the game with a two-run double to key a four-run fourth in Pacific League action at Chiba Marine Stadium.
Atsunori Inaba homered in the sixth and Itoi added a sacrifice fly in the eighth.
