NAGOYA – Nagoya Grampus Eight striker Keiji Tamada has been sidelined with a broken right foot, the J. League first-division club announced Tuesday.
Tamada, a member of Japan’s World Cup squad who scored in its 4-1 defeat by Brazil in the tournament in Germany last summer, picked up the injury during a training session on April 24 and is expected to need at least five weeks before returning to action.
