The Orix Buffaloes have signed a one-year contract with infielder Jason Grabowski, who played in 65 games for the Los Angeles Dodgers this year, the Pacific League club said Monday.

The deal for Grabowski is worth a combined $600,000 in signing bonus and annual salary.

The 29-year-old hit .161 for the Dodgers and .309 for Triple-A Las Vegas in 2005, and has a .196 batting average with 11 homers in 190 major league games.
