NAYORO, Hokkaido – Veteran ski jumper Masahiko Harada came from behind with a pair of solid leaps to win the Nayoro summer jump meet on Sunday.
The 37-year-old Harada made two leaps of 93 meters at the K-90 Nayoro Piyashiri hill in Hokkaido to win his second title at the annual meet and first in two years with a total of 244.5 points.
Noriaki Kasai jumped 93.5 meters to take the lead after his first attempt but finished second overall after a leap of 91 meters on his second effort for a total of 243.0.
