Speedskater Kesato Miyazaki won the men's 10,000 meters Monday, bringing Japan's gold medal tally to five on the sixth day of the Winter University Games.
Miyazaki clocked a time of 14 minutes, 6.89 seconds to claim his second medal of the Games after taking silver in the 5,000.
Meiji University student Hiroki Hirako took third while Shigeyuki Dejima of Senshu University came fourth.
