Tadahito Iguchi delivered a grand slam into the right field stands to cap a six-run eighth inning as the Daiei Hawks came from five runs down to edge the front-running Seibu Lions 7-6 on Sunday.

Kazumi Saito (4-2) won the decision despite yielding six runs -- three earned -- in seven innings of work in the Pacific League game at Nagano Olympic Stadium.

Julio Zuleta drove in two runs on a one-out single in the eighth to cut the deficit to 6-3 before Iguchi's game-winner ended the Hawks' losing streak after three games. Koji Mise held Seibu scoreless over two innings to post his 12th save.

At Sapporo Dome, Michihiro Ogasawara connected for a three-run go-ahead homer as Nippon Ham rallied from a two-run deficit in a five-run second inning on the way to beating Orix.

Ogsawara went 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Carlos Mirabal was chased after allowing four runs in 3 2/3 innings while Naoyuki Tateishi (3-1) got the win for 2 1/3 scoreless frames.
