KAIMON, Kagoshima Pref. (Kyodo) Sophie Gustafson, the top money-earner on the European tour, became the latest female golfer to flop in a men’s tour event as she missed the cut after a 5-over-par 77 in the second round of the Casio World Open on Friday.

Gustafson, the first woman to play on the Japanese GTO men’s tour, had two birdies against five bogeys and a double bogey to crash out of the 140 million yen event at Ibusuki Golf Club with a 36-hole total of 7-over 151.

Katsumune Imai carded his second straight 65, including a hole in one on the par 3, 4th to stretch his overnight lead to four strokes on 14-under 130 while India’s Jyoti Randhawa fired a 66 for second place.
