The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan

Founded in 1945 by newspaper, wire service, magazine, radio journalists and photographers who arrived in Japan following the end of World War II, the FCCJ is one of the world's oldest press clubs. The FCCJ regularly hosts press events, performances and exhibitions related to Japan and newsgathering.

Exhibitions are generally free and open to the public. Charges vary for club events.

In line with COVID-19 guidelines, the government is strongly requesting that residents and visitors exercise caution if they choose to visit bars, restaurants, music venues and other public spaces.
