In areas of radiation exposure risk, people should not take vitamins that contain metals like iron, copper and other minerals. In the body, they can pick up and make the effects of low-level radiation worse, especially in children and women. Products such as vitamin water and (ionizing sports drinks) should also be avoided. Plain water is best. Bread and wheat products fortified with iron should be avoided in risk areas.

Medical doctors and nutritionists should be checking relief packages so that products containing metals are not going to people and professionals in areas of risk. The Japanese people are in the prayers of the people of Arizona.
