U.S. President Donald Trump may visit Japan next month, media reports have said, potentially giving Japan’s new leader a chance to meet him.
Trump is already set to travel to Asia to attend summits in South Korea and Malaysia, and he may stop by Japan as part of that trip, Reuters reported Wednesday. However, the report noted that plans could change.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said Thursday that nothing has been decided on Trump’s possible visit to Japan.
