As prices are rising for many food items due to several factors including soaring crude oil prices, local authorities and schools are struggling to serve school lunches on limited budgets.
While they are trying to curb costs by changing ingredients, it is not easy to do so and at the same time meet the nutritional standards required for school lunches.
