The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested 14 people on suspicion of illegally possessing and selling a huge amount of obscene DVDs, police said Monday.
Yoshiteru Ando, 36, operator of five DVD shops in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, and 13 others have been arrested for allegedly keeping about 34,000 DVDs in a storage room in Shibuya Ward for the purpose of selling them to customers.
All of the suspects admitted to the charge, according to police.
