Japan will send a mission to Mauritania in a few months to explore the possibility of Japanese companies joining oil development projects in the west African country, government officials said Wednesday.
The mission will be headed by the director general of the Natural Resources and Energy Agency, an arm of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
