Nonresident investors were net buyers of Japanese stocks in June for the fourth consecutive month, with net purchases of 134.9 billion yen, the Finance Ministry said Friday in a report based on transaction contracts.

Nonresident investors purchased 5.6582 trillion yen worth of Japanese stocks and sold 5.523 trillion yen.

They were net buyers of Japanese bonds for the second straight month, with net purchases of 481.9 billion yen. They bought 5.051 trillion yen worth and sold 4.569 trillion yen.

Japanese investors were net buyers of foreign stocks for the fourth straight month, with net purchases of 646.1 billion yen. They bought 1.653 trillion yen worth and sold 1.007 trillion yen. They were net buyers of foreign bonds for the third month in a row, with net purchases of 106.5 billion yen.

They bought 7.832 trillion yen worth and sold 7.725 trillion yen.
