OSAKA — Four Chinese men have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in alien registration card fraud following a search of 22 locations in Tokyo and Osaka Prefecture, police said Tuesday.

Police alleged that Li Wei, 42, of Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, and two other Chinese, whose names were not provided, produced and used fake alien registration cards.

They allegedly sold fake alien registration cards and passport sets for 20,000 yen each.

Also arrested was Guo Jinlan, 32, of no fixed address, who allegedly requested a fake alien registration card and Chinese passport, police said.
