Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. said Tuesday it has signed a deal with Fuore Design International of Spain to cooperate in developing Matsushita consumer electronic products.
Matsushita said the agreement is part of the company's campaign to strengthen the Panasonic brand by collaborating with the major Barcelona design studio.
A Matsushita official said the company has yet to work out details, including specific products to be designed by the Spanish firm.
Fuore Design is known for its designs of Volkswagen, Audi and SEAT cars, Matsushita said.
