Online brokerage Monex Inc. has agreed to form an alliance with Shinsei Bank to provide its customers with a wider range of financial services, including banking products, the two companies said Thursday.
Details of the new service, to be worked out later, will include measures to allow Monex customers to move their funds freely between brokerage and banking accounts via the Internet, they said.
The new service will also provide Monex customers with various banking products, such as fixed-term and foreign currency deposits, offered by Shinsei Bank, the two firms said.
