The Japan Emergency Team, a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization specializing in disaster relief, is preparing to send members to the site of a landslide that killed 19 people in Kagoshima Prefecture on July 10, the team said July 10.
The organization is also accepting donations of the following supplies: blankets, canned food, instant food, home medical kits, tents, sleeping bags and powdered milk. Supplies are being accepted at Operation Kyushu, The Japan Emergency Team, Box 65, Azabu, Tokyo, Japan 106-91.
