Filtration system offers purified water

Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, located only a minute from Yokohama Station, has introduced purified water in all 398 guest rooms via a newly installed water filter system developed by Sotetsu Pure Water Co.

It is the first time that the water filter system is being introduced in a hotel on such a large scale. Two units of filter cases that contain 240 filters have been installed in the hotel. For further information about the system, visit www.so-pw.co.jp

Sotetsu Pure Water Co., which has sold water treatment systems to more than 7,000 households across Japan, successfully manufactured a device that removes impurities and suspended chlorine from tap water — both cold and warm — used in the hotel sinks, showers, tubs and toilets.

Thanks to the system, guests can enjoy long, luxurious baths at the hotel, using soft, light and smooth water. The filtered water is also used for cooking, ice and drinking water at the hotel’s restaurants.
