Translation

Nut rage imploded the career of a Korean Air Lines executive and embarrassed her family and country. Now South Korean retailers are experiencing an unexpected boom in sales of macadamias. Cho Hyun-ah, the daughter of Korean Air’s chairman, ordered a flight attendant off a Dec. 5 flight from New York City and threw a tantrum when a flight attendant served her macadamia nuts in a bag, and not on a plate. Cho was criticized for ordering the attendant off the flight, forcing the plane to delay. She later resigned from executive roles on the airline. Curiosity about the nuts rose, and sales are booming, said the Auction website.
