Akita: Dainichido Bugaku

Ancient court dance with music, dedicated to the shrine. This bugaku with a 1,300-year history has been handed down through generations in the village and is designated as one of the National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties.

Location: Ohirume muchi-jinja Shrine, Kazuno, Akita

JR Tohoku Shinkansen Line to Morioka Sta. From there, take IGR Iwate Ginga Tetsudo Line to Hachimantai Sta. via JR Hanawa Line, and then walk 1 min.
