Creative director Seiichi Hishikawa, known for his work on TV commercials and the opening visuals for NHK historical dramas, curated this unusual exhibition for 21_21 Design Sight.
As the title "Motion Science" suggests, this exhibition features works that bring movement to artistic expressions. It includes pieces by world-renowned media artists Zimoun and Nils Volker, as well as others made by electronic companies in collaboration with emerging artists. The links and relationships between design and the latest technologies of each exhibit are highlighted and explained to visitors via animated presentations created by Hishikawa's Drawing and Manual group.
