"Keith Haring Multiplexism" explores diverse expressions involving modern Internet technology visible in Haring's works using six key phrases: future primitive, art and fashion, HIV/AIDS: arts and activism, children, Japanese culture and art history.

Haring's work is also being displayed in a new gallery space with ancient Japanese dōgu clay dolls, many of which were excavated in the museum's surrounding area, in a show of respect to the artist's strong appreciation of primitive art.
