Rugby chiefs said on Monday that they had no qualms over England's dominance of the women's game after the Red Roses beat Canada in the World Cup final to extend their unbeaten run to 33 matches.

England's 33-13 victory at Twickenham on Saturday means it has not lost since a 34-31 defeat by New Zealand in the COVID-delayed 2022 World Cup final in Auckland.

The tournament host won every match by a comfortable margin — its closest contest was a 35-17 semifinal win over France.
