Utility infielder Munenori Kawasaki has been sent down to Triple-A Iowa, the Chicago Cubs announced Tuesday.
Kawasaki had been promoted two games before the All-Star break for the second time this season. He has played three games in the majors this season and has one hit in three at-bats with one stolen base for the National League Central Division leaders.
