Shimizu S-Pulse defender Genta Miura has been added to Japan’s Under-23 squad for the upcoming Toulon International tournament in France, the Japan Football Association said Sunday.
Miura has been called up to replace Kawasaki Frontale defender Tatsuki Nara, who was ruled out for four months and is set to miss the Rio de Janeiro Olympics after breaking his left shinbone on Saturday in a 3-1 home win over Vissel Kobe.
