The 21-year-old forward, likely to be named to Japan’s squad for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, canceled out Daniel Schutz opener when he steered inside the far post in the 31st minute. Dimitri Oberlin scored the winner in the 72nd minute from a tight angle.
