Yamaha Jubilo won the All-Japan Championship on Saturday, defeating Suntory Sungoliath 15-3 in the final.

Jubilo dominated possession for long stretches with an unimaginative game plan, but were sure in their tackles when forced to defend.

Sungoliath tried to counter with some creative play, but poor passing doomed dozens of good efforts.

Yamaha's Male Sau bulled his way across for the opening try in the seventh minute after a series of Suntory penalties gave Jubilo possession near their opponents' tryline. Ayumu Goromaru added the extras and a long penalty six minutes later.
