Vissel Kobe on Friday named former Kashiwa Reysol boss Nelsinho as the J. League first-division club’s manager for next season.

The 64-year-old Nelsinho, who stepped down as Kashiwa coach at the end of this season, takes over from Ryo Adachi, who quit after Kobe finished the campaign in 11th place.
