Nothing the Tokyo Cinq Reves did on Saturday could slow down the Iwate Big Bulls, and nothing could stop them from taking an insurmountable lead.

The Big Bulls led by 15 points after one quarter, and then it was a 51-17 advantage at halftime.

Iwate whipped the visitors 109-53.

The Big Bulls (8-1) improved to 3-0 at home, winning their seventh game in a row.

Scootie Randall led Iwate with 25 points and Wayne Arnold sank four 3-pointers en route to 24 points. Hayato Kantake and Lawrence Blackledge each had 13 points, while big man Abdullahi Kuso contributed 11 points, 12 rebounds and five assists and Jun Nakanishi finished with nine points in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture.

"Tonight we played a well-balanced team game on offense," Blackledge, who grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out six assists, told The Japan Times. "We are trying to keep everybody involved in the game offensively. (We are) playing hard-nosed team defense and gang rebounding as a team. Trying to keep getting better with every game and practice. Staying humble and respecting each opponent every weekend."

Tokyo (3-6) faced a 79-32 deficit after three quarters.

Jemal Farmer, who had 19 points, was the Cinq Reves' lone double-digit scorer.

Hannaryz 69, Susanoo Magic 57

In Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, Ryan Forehan-Kelly's 22 points and Reggie Warren's 18-point, 10-rebound performance led Kyoto to a series-opening victory over the hosts. Kevin Kotzur contributed 12 points and Shun Watanuki scored seven for the Hannaryz (8-1).

Shimane (0-9) failed to score 60 or more points for the fourth time this season.

Isiah Brown was the Magic's top scorer with 17 points on the night, Joe Chapman had 14 and Edward Yamamoto put 12 on the board.

Chapman and Yamamoto each had four assists.

Shimane trailed 19-6 after one quarter.

Brave Warriors 90, Broncos 78

In Ueda, Nagano Prefecture, Carl Hall's 28 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks sparked Shinshu against Saitama.

Hall, a Wichita State alum, converted 11 of 14 shots from the field and hauled in eight offensive rebounds.

Patrick Sanders added 22 points and Mohamed Abukar scored 16 for the Brave Warriors (3-4). Shoji Nakanishi scored nine points and Takato Saito handed out nine assists, one shy of his season-high total.

For the Broncos (0-9), Gary Johnson and Yuki Sasaki both scored 18 points.

Saitama was 6 of 15 at the free-throw line.

Grouses 78, Wat's 71

In Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, Toyama's 28 made free throws secured a win over the Wat's.

Grouses coach Bob Nash's squad sank 28 of 34 at the line; Aomori made 5 of 12.

Sam Willard had 21 points, 16 rebounds and four steals for Toyama (8-1) and Jamelle Horne scored a season-high 16 points. Joe Werner chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Masashi Joho added 12 points and five assists. Tatsunori Fujie scored nine points.

The Grouses also controlled the glass, pulling down 24 offensive boards to Aomori's 13.

Gyno Pomare had a team-best 17 points for the Wat's (6-3), Kyle Richardson scored 14, Yuki Kitamuki added 13 and Damian Saunders 11.

Northern Happinets 79, B-Corsairs 59

In Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, Akita jumped out to a 17-4 lead after one quarter and held Yokohama to 2-for-20 3-point shooting in a rout.

Richard Roby paced the Northern Happinets (7-2) with 17 points. He added seven rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks. Deshawn Stephens had 16 points, 11 boards and two blocks and Shigehiro Taguchi poured in 15 points and made three steals.

Akita guard Ryosuke Mizumachi added eights off the bench and Akitomo Takeno scored seven and drained 1 of 2 3s (he's now 13-for-22 from long range this season).

Yokohama (3-6) trailed 40-22 at halftime.

Wayne Marshall paced the B-Corsairs with 20 points and Warren Niles scored 18 and grabbed 11 rebounds. Dzaflo Larkai added nine points and nine rebounds, while Masayuki Kabaya scored six and dished out five assists.

Golden Kings 82, Rizing 70

In Okinawa City, the high-energy Golden Kings shot 25 free throws and the Rizing were awarded a measly two.

Ryukyu improved to 7-2, getting 17-point outings from both Draelon Burns and Ryuichi Kishimoto. Anthony McHenry contributed 15 points and collected nine rebounds, Morihisa Yamauchi had eight points, making all three of his shots, Kibwe Trim scored seven points and pulled down nine rebounds and veteran forward Hiromasa Omiya added seven points, eight rebounds and two steals. Narito Namizato came off the bench to provide six points, six boards, six assists and three steals.

For Fukuoka (2-7), Josh Peppers scored 18 points and Cohey Aoki had 16, while Greg Logins supplied 13 and Cooper Land 11.

Evessa 82, Five Arrows 68

In Bizen, Okayama Prefecture, Shota Konno scored 18 points and four teammates also reached double figures in points as Osaka hammered Takamatsu.

The Evessa (5-4) out-rebounded the Five Arrows 45-31. Osaka's Jon Kreft had a game-high 12 rebounds.

Takuma Soma and Kreft scored 14 points apiece for the Evessa, who held Takamatsu to 10 third-quarter points and built a 14-point cushion entering the final stanza.

Justin Watts led the Five Arrows with 19 points and Hiroyuki Kikuchi and Dexter Lyons each scored 12. Lyons dished out five assists.

89ers 95, Firebonds 76

In Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, Kejuan Johnson's 23-point performance and Takehiko Shimura's 10 assists guided Sendai to a victory over the struggling hosts.

Fukushima (1-8), a first-year franchise, dropped its seventh straight game.

Wendell White scored 16 points for the 89ers (6-3), Manato Kikuchi and Fumiya Sato had 12 apiece and DeAngelo Hamilton added 11.

Terrance Shannon finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks for the Firebonds and Atsushi Nogami drained five 3s in a 17-point effort. James Hughes had 11 points and Masaya Karimata, Edward Morris and Verdell Jones III all scored eight, the latter also passing out seven assists.

Albirex BB 73, Crane Thunders 68

In Ota, Gunma Prefecture, Patrick Sullivan's 27 points, 15 rebounds and five assists ignited Niigata in a narrow win over the hosts.

Thomas Kennedy scored 12 points and Yuichi Ikeda and Stephan Van Treese had 10 apiece for the Albirex (7-2).
Van Treese grabbed 12 rebounds.

Gunma (0-7) took a 26-12 lead into the second quarter, but Niigata chipped away at the lead en route to victory.

Carlos Dixon was the Crane Thunders' top scorer with 19 points, followed by Yosuke Sugawara (17 points), Marcus Morrison (11) and Masanobu Ito (10). Ex-NBA big man Melvin Ely had five points, six rebounds and one block.

HeatDevils 87, Lakestars 78

In Higashiomi, Shiga Prefecture, University of Illinois alum Demetri McCamey energized Oita with 21 points and got to the charity stripe with regularity in a win over the Lakestars.
McCamey made 9 of 14 foul shots, leading his team in both categories.

Hiroki Oshiro and Yuto Okumoto added 12 points apiece for the HeatDevils (3-6), while Taishiro Shimizu scored 11 points. Drew Barham had nine points and eight boards and Kellen Thornton added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Jeff Parmer scored 19 points for Shiga (5-2) and Yu Okada had 16. Chris Holm finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds and Terrance Woodbury scored 11 points.
