LAS VEGAS – Tomoki Kameda defeated Pungluang Sor Singyu by seventh-round technical knockout on Saturday to defend his WBO bantamweight title for the second time.
Kameda floored the top-ranked Thai contender with a body blow to become the fifth Japanese fighter to win a title defense overseas and the only one other than Toshiaki Nishioka to do so in the United States.
