Teen forward sensation Ryo Miyaichi opened his account with Feyenoord with his first goal in a 2-1 victory over Heracles Almelo on Saturday.

The 18-year-old Miyaichi, who is on loan from Arsenal and was making his second appearance for the Dutch side, chested a ball on a cross from striker Diego Bisewar, calmly netting into the left corner after 18 minutes of play.

Bisewar added his name to the scoresheet on 34 minutes with another superb left-footed strike that he curled into the top left corner from just outside the area.

Mark-Jan Fledderus halved the deficit for Heracles with an 18-yard free kick two minutes later but the visitors failed to mount a rally afterward, thanks in part to a save from goalie Erwin Muller on a low left-footed drive from Everton in the second half.

Japanese defender Maya Yoshida and striker Robert Cullen played the full 90 minutes together for the first time this season but Dutch first division side VVV Venlo went down 3-0 away to ADO Den Haag.

Vitesse Arnhem defender Michihiro Yasuda played the entire match in a 1-0 loss to Twente Enschede.
