Saitama Broncos forward Kazuya Hatano, a four-time All-Star, will be sidelined for two months as he recovers from a metacarpal fracture in in his right hand, the bj-league team announced on Monday.
Hatano suffered the injury in Saturday's loss to the Shiga Lakestars.
He's appeared in 27 games this season, averaging 10.5 points and 5.9 rebounds. Hatano is having his best all-around season since the bj-league's inception in 2005.
The Broncos are 11-17 through Sunday.
