KASHIWA, Chiba Pref. (Kyodo) Koki Mizuno, who spent the past three seasons with Scottish Premier League giants Celtic, will join Kashiwa Reysol, the J. League second-division club said Saturday.
The midfielder's contract with Kashiwa runs from July 2 through Jan. 31, 2012.
Mizuno, 24, was limited to a total of 12 league and cup games over the three seasons. He was not even on the bench for most of the 2009-10 season.
While playing for JEF United from 2004-07, Mizuno scored 13 goals in 86 matches.
