OSAKA (Kyodo) Holders Gamba Osaka will have to play Vegalta Sendai in the Emperor's Cup semifinals on Tuesday without regular goalkeeper Yosuke Fujigaya.
Gamba said Saturday that Fujigaya has tested positive for influenza A and will rest at home for one week.
Fujigaya developed a 39 C fever Saturday morning.
The Emperor's Cup final is scheduled for Jan. 1 at National Stadium.
