Host Japan picked up its first win of the women’s World Grand Prix final round with a straight-sets victory over the Netherlands on Friday.

Japan won 25-22, 25-18, 25-22 to improve its win-loss record to 1-2, while the Netherlands, the 2007 World Grand Prix winner, fell to 2-1.
