Nagano Olympic champion Tae Satoya has been added in the women's moguls event to the list of those named to represent Japan at the upcoming FIS Freestyle World Championships, the Ski Association of Japan said Monday.

Satoya was formally added along with Kai Ozaki in the men's moguls event for the meet being held in Inawashiro, Fukushima Prefecture, starting March 2.

Satoya and Ozaki were selected after qualifying into the final rounds at recent World Cup meets.

Aiko Uemura, who has two victories under her belt on the World Cup circuit this season, will be among the four female moguls skiers aiming for medals by host Japan. Four male moguls skiers, including Yugo Tsukita, will also participate.

Noriko Fukushima will compete in women's ski cross for Japan , while Hiroomi Takizawa and Toshiyuki Doi have been named in the men's ski cross event.

The final three spots in women's ski cross and two berths in the men's event will be decided giving consideration to the results of a World Cup meet in Branaes, Sweden, on Monday and Tuesday.
