The Ryukyu Golden Kings improved to 24-6 by beating the visiting Rizing Fukuoka 87-73 on Sunday.
The bj-league's top team had five double-digit scorers: Jeff Newton (20 points), Anthony McHenry (18), Shigeyuki Kinjo (17), Bryan Simpson (12) and Chris Ayer (11).
Newton grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds and McHenry pulled down 13. Kinjo dished out a team-best five assists.
