MATSUYAMA, Ehime Pref. (Kyodo) Akane Iijima shot a 3-under-par 69 to share the clubhouse lead with three other players in the weather-hit first round of the Elleair Ladies Open on Friday.
Iijima, who is looking for her second win of the 2008 season, had eight birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey and was tied with Taiwan's Wei Yun-jye, Mihoko Iseri and Junko Omote when darkness halted play with 30 players left on the Elleair Gold Club course.
