NISHINOMIYA, Hyogo Pref. (Kyodo) Takahiro Sakai and Ryuichi Maeda drove in seven runs between them as Tokoha Gakuen Kikugawa of Shizuoka Prefecture rallied to beat Chiben Wakayama 13-10 Saturday to reach the semifinals of the National High School Baseball Championship.

In the day's other quarterfinal game at Koshien Stadium, Yokohama slugger Yoshitomo Tsutsugo homered in two consecutive at-bats and tied a championship record with eight RBIs in a game, leading the Kanagawa school to a 15-1 rout of Fukushima's Seiko Gakuin. He had a grand slam, a two-run homer, and a two-run double.
