Alex Ramirez, Yoshitomo Tani and Hayato Sakamoto delivered RBI hits in the first inning to help the Yomiuri Giants end the Hanshin Tigers' longest winning streak of the season at seven games with an 8-3 victory on Thursday.

Yoshinobu Takahashi and Michihiro Ogasawara reached on singles off Tsuyoshi Shimoyanagi (8-2) before Ramirez and Tani hit back-to-back one-out RBI singles, followed by Sakamoto's run-scoring double one out later at Koshien Stadium.

Yomiuri starter Tetsuya Utsumi helped his own cause with a sixth-inning RBI single that made it 4-2 after allowing the Central League leaders to pull within a run.
