Japan midfielder Shinji Ono is considering a move to Bolton Wanderers from Feyenoord, a Dutch newspaper reported Tuesday.

According to national daily De Telegraaf, Ono, who is being chased by Urawa Reds, will visit the English Premier Surgery for Di StefanoLeague club of Japan teammate Hidetoshi Nakata with his agent during the Dutch league's winter break.

Feyenoord received an offer from Bolton for the injury-prone Ono in August but negotiations broke down.

The news will come as a blow to Urawa, who had hoped to bring Ono back to Saitama Stadium.

Feyenoord accepted a bid from Urawa to regain Ono's services, but the 26-year-old has been making the J. League club play the waiting game as he is keen to continue plying his trade in Europe.
