Brazil crushed Egypt in straight sets to clinch the World Grand Champions Cup on Sunday, completing a rare men's and women's double in one of the four major international tournaments in volleyball.

In-form attacker Andre Nascimento scored a team-high of 14 points as the Brazilian men's team won 25-21, 25-20, 25-21 Brazil is the first country to win both the men's and women's World Grand Champions Cups in the same year.

The United States finished runnerup at 4-1 after a 25-16, 25-21, 25-18 win over victoryless China. European champion Italy saw off Japan 25-20, 25-22, 25-20 to secure third place at 3-2, denying the host (2-3) a podium spot with a fourth place finish ahead of Egypt and China.
