Yusaku Miyazato shot his second straight 68 on Saturday to move into a share of the lead with David Smail of New Zealand after three rounds of the Bridgestone Open.

Miyazato, an elder brother of Japan LPGA star Ai Miyazato, made an eagle and three birdies against a bogey as he moved to an 11-under-par 205 total at Sodegaura Country Club in Chiba.

Miyazato began the day two strokes off the pace and holed a 9-iron from 137 yards at No. 6 to get his round going.

Miyazato then birdied the par-3 eighth from 17 feet and the par-5 ninth from nearly 70 feet.

After carding a bogey with a missed short putt on the 11th, he capped his round with a birdie on the par-5 16th.
