Makato Inoue fired the day's low of 7-under-par 65 Friday to move into a three-way share of the lead with American Gregory Meyer and Kaname Yokoo after the second round of the Bridegstone Open. Inoue made nine birdies, including four in his first five holes, but suffered for a double-bogey on the par-3 17th. Meyer and Yokoo each carded six birdies in bogey-free rounds of 66 for a share of the lead.
