Jubilo Iwata announced Wednesday the acquisition of Japan defender Takayuki Chano and promising midfielder Shinji Murai from J. League first-division rival JEF United Ichihara.
Chano, 28, and Murai, 25, have chalked up 344 league appearances between them with Ichihara and further strengthen Iwata's squad for the 2005 season following the arrival of Japan goalkeeper Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi and another former JEF star, Choi Yong Soo.
