KOBE (Kyodo) J. League first division club Vissel Kobe on Friday announced the departure of Ilhan Mansiz after the Turkish striker missed much of the first stage of the J. League season due to a knee injury.
Kobe also announced the acquisition of Czech midfielder Pavel Horvath on a contract running through Jan. 1 to fill the void left by Ilhan, who appeared in just three league matches since joining Kobe in February for a J. League record fee of $4.5 million.
